REFUSE DERIVED FUELS

RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) is a method used to turn general waste into a fuel that can be used in energy from waste facilities to generate heat and power, rather than sending the waste to landfill.

This is typically the residual waste produced once the waste has had any recyclable material recovered through a recycling facility and is processed and baled for transport onto energy from waste facilities.

Weyland-Yutani delivers turn key installations for RDF production from MSW and cogeneration plants for electric and thermal energy cogeneration.
